Another day of walking and the weather was just beautiful. tomorrow is also supposed to be sunny and springlike and then it's scheduled to get cold again. so before that happens we've been taking advantage of this break in the clouds. I'm just going to post some pictures with minimal explanation for now.
because i'm childish i can't resist posting this silly grafitto on the way to walk through Wilsona Park:
next you see an amazing Palm greenhouse at one end of the park complete with its own beehive. tomorrow we will go there (it was closed today) and i will take pictures of the interior and i hope to eat in the attached cafe:

we passed through the main market square touristy area again and found the Ministry of Herring and Vodka but it was closed:

i was generally exhausted after this, too tired to take pictures of the wonderful food we ate for a light dinner before stumbling back to the apartment. the restaurant was just outside the square and at the bottom of the castle walls. we sat outside between tables of very dedicated smokers but it was still very pleasant and the food was so good. here's a picture i had taken of the street earlier in the day (you can see the restaurant on the left at the end of the street) and then later sitting at dinner, a quick one of the sign:
