On the way back to the garret, there is a little corner park that has something I call "the candy smell". It's a rare fragrance that can only be described as something between Fruitloops and SweeTarts and one of my favorite scents in the world. It's also very mysterious. I've noticed it for decades but it's impossible to locate the source of the scent. Well this time I may have found it. However, I have no idea what kind of tree this is. I took a picture in the hope that we run into a knowlegeable botanist one of these days.
And here we see a photo of N in his element. No not the Honda model SUV...he just thought this mini minivan was cute.
And speaking of mini, we came across an underpass that was hobbit sized, at least vertically. There were fresh bike tire tracks going through it, so apparently even bicyclists aren't impeded by the questionable clearance.
