Return to Amsterdam

We made a special trip back to Amsterdam for two reasons. I really wanted to see the Van Gogh museum. There are 3 major museums in Amsterdam and you cannot go to more than one per day, they are just too intense. And the second reason was to visit Tim and his family in this completely out of context context.

Afterwards we took a walk through a local park:

Tim, Kristina, Soren, Rainer, A, N and me (not in that order of course). Note the low ceilings. They rented this amazingly sinuous apartment that seemed to be carved into the side of a restaurant and snaked its way onto a little terrace via two bedrooms, a kitchen and bathroom on two separate floors. Its existence was a feat architectural ingenuity.
