I cannot remember all the details of our days here but suffice it to say, many of them were suffused with rain. A and I took a long walk on our first full day here. This is the main city center. The church here is called the cathedral of St. Martin . Ahead of us was a mysterious door in the wall. It was open so I had to look in.

Hi seasoned travelers! Utrecht looks like a view from Delft close up. You seem to be holding up. History might be a dead hand holding back "progress, but it sure as hell looks refreshing from from here. You must be in England if the EU hasn't closed the tunnel. (I think Brexit was sprung by the usual suspects to scotch the radicalization of the labor party, which is much more dangerous than Sanders' nudge of the Democrats.) Anyway, I want you to know that if there is any problem with transportation home from the airport (I think you had set that up, right?)--don't hesitate to call for help.pp
